The Underground Academy of Cinematic Arts is proud to announce the 10th annual Golden Lion Awards High School Film Festival on April 27-28, 2019. The festival is currently seeking submissions and is open to high school/middle school students through March 15, 2019.
The Golden Lion High School Film Festival is the only non-profit, youth focused, regional event of its kind in the country. The film festival provides opportunities for young filmmakers to meet, improve skills and learn from industry professionals. The weekend of the film festival, accepted films will screen on April 27 at the Esquire Theater. Throughout the day, college workshops and master classes will be offered in and around OTR. On April 28, award-winning films from all 14 categories will screen at Memorial Hall during the awards ceremony which includes a catered reception, musical performances and college fair.
