Library: Real to Reel Documentary Film Series
06/08/2010The Popular Library invites you to the Real to Reel Documentary Film Series.
Third Tuesday of the Month - June 15 & July 20, at 7:00 p.m.
Main Library, 800 Vine Street, in the Huenefeld Tower Room.
Library Staff will lead a discussion following the screenings.
Get a glimpse into one of the city's largest and most extensive collections
of film and TV documentaries.
The Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County Library's collection
includes a wide array of documentaries about history, social issues,
religion, nature, gardening, cooking, art & artists, music & concerts,
sports, health & fitness, travel, local interest, and plenty of
instructional guides including those on college admission testing. The
hard-to-find movies are also here.
Tuesday, June 15 - "The Cove."
Directed by former National Geographic photographer Louise Psihoyos, this

Tuesday, July 20 - "Food, Inc."
Directed by Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Robert Kenner, "Food, Inc." is a
2009 American documentary film that examines corporate farming in the United
States, concluding that the meat and vegetables produced by agribusiness
have many hidden costs and are unhealthy and environmentally-harmful.
